Making the Header respect your forum's theme

Hi there,

I have both PhotoPost Classifieds and Gallery installed by you, integrated with my wowbb forum site. People get to the Classifieds or Gallery by clicking a button in the header. At my request, when you installed, you made the header appear in the Classifieds and Gallery so it was consistent between the applications.

But I am about to expand and take on some theme choices for my users. They will be able to select, from their Preferences, which cosmetic theme they would like to view things in. However, obviously, the Classifieds and Gallery keep the same header as the original theme - the one the code in their Headers points to.

I am wondering how can I make it so that the header and hopefully even the theme of the Classifieds or Gallery will change to what I wish, depending upon which theme my user selects in the forum software.

To phrase it another way for clarity's sake, I would like the header info in the Classifieds and Gallery to change and point to the header of the new theme the user selected in the wowbb forums. Or at least, automatically point to something I can construct so that it at least looks OK with the theme they select in the forums.

Ideally, the themes of the Gallery and Classifieds themeselves could or would change too, but that might be icing. I don't really know, that's why I am writing this post!

It looks terrible if one of my forum users changes theme and goes to, let's say, the Gallery and sees a totally different looking theme from one of the other theme choices, if you catch my drift.

Thanks for any help...

- Frank

What you need to do is add some css classes to each stylesheet or use css classes already present in the css stylesheets in your header for the gallery and classifieds so that the colors will change with each theme change
