no pictures in the gallery yet the index shows 45

how do I remove the 45 ?

there are no images ...

I tried all the rescan options

I dumped the database

well with fresh database

I uploaded 784 photos and then deleted about 40

the members gallery photo count still shows 784

the category count below it shows ~740

I turned off the category caching but what else needs to be done to get the numbers to match

The cache needs to update, I think it takes about an hour or so

try disabling the cache in admin global options and see what count displays
