| Photopost & IPB
Hi there, does Photopost integrate with IPB 2.2.1, I am not seeing any documentation on doing this...I used to have it on a vBulletin site, however, thinking of getting rid of it there and using it on my IPB 2.2.1 site.
Thanks!

Chuck is the IPB guy; he'll be back on Monday to answer, but if its not a BETA, then it should be working.

Ok so it can integrate just like it does with vBulletin?
Is there any documentation that could help me?
Thanks!

All of the integrations work pretty much the same; but Chuck would be able to answer any specific questions when he gets back.

Hmmm well the vBulletin integration is part of the install process in regards to photopost using the vBulletin header and footer.
Guess I will need to wait until chuck is back...unless anyone can instruct me...I will play with it some though |

Ok well I have tried to install this with IPB 2.2.1 and it will not log me in. It acts as though it worked, and then still shows me logged out. Cleared cookies and verified all cookie information was set properly. Any help?
Thanks!

Well I have tried everything...I am wondering if it is not compatible with the new IPB 2.2.1.

Surely it is compatible I would think. If your login authenticates it surely works and this is a cookie issue hands down.
You install and choose ib2 from the drop down and install as normal with proper database prefix etc
Your cookies should be set like this in both invision and photopost
cookie path /
cookie prefix blank
cookie domain .domain.com
I would suspect your cookies are not quite right and you can post a url and test login here to confirm this

Now I do not have a path setup...never have.

Cookies need to be set the same between both software and as I noted is the perfect way. If you require assistance in having someone look over what might be wrong in your install sent ftp and phpmyadmin login data and site url and gallery login to support@photopost.com |
