I know how to create watermarks, but how do I create watermarks on the fly so they are transparent. I use photoshop. Can anyone offer any help?

When creating your watermark just use a transparent background so then the only thing will show is your top layer you add which is the watermark. If your trying to make the top layer semi transparent there should be a tool to adjust that transparency but I do not use photoshop so I can not tell you where that is

No, no, that was not what I meant. Sorry I did not explain better. I know how to create a transparent backgrounds. I want to make the text in the watermark semi transparent. Let me link you to a sample transparent watermark that I would like mine to be like.

I want to have the watermark text so that it is not solid but a little transparent.

Here is the sample.

that looks more like a transparent text layer with a flash bevel/emboss effect on it. something like this...

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
to do this create your text, apply a flash effect for bevel emboss tweak to your liking then select the text layer on the layers panel and change "Fill" to 0%
