Watermarking

I'm trying to setup Watermarking but having a bit of a problem. Some images are watermarked .. others aren't ... and now I'm at the point of confused *grin* ...

Photopost is setup using ImageMagick .. If I want to permanently watermark what options would I choose ...

Have you set watermarking permission under edit categories? Only images in categories where you have set watermarking as checked by certain usergroups will be watermarked

Yes you turn on the global watermarking but then restrict what images get watermarked and those that dont by checking off which usergroups get watermarked in edit categories for each category.

*confused* ...

Ok so you set the Global Watermarking under "Watermark Options". then under Edit Categories you have "Path to watermark for this category". I don't see anything about Usergroups getting watermarked :|

If you have permanent watermarking enabled under watermark options then in edit categories edit a category and scan all the way down under the tick boxes for permissions at the bottom there will be the part to set which usergroups will have their images stamped.

Well what is the watermarked field set to in the database for a Photo that does not have a watermark? Use phpmyadmin to view this and let me know. It should say no and if it does the scan database option will watermark any photos that show no.

Am having the same problem with ReviewPost.

rp_products have the watermarked field set to "No" for the majority of the pics. The actual pic I'm trying to view has it set to "No". Am using ImageMagic with a gif image. Watermarking is enabled on a global basis and for the usergroup Admin for which I am testing it out.

Should I also run:
UPDATE rp_products SET watermarked='no' WHERE watermarked = ''
Enable On-The-Fly Watermarks
(Requires GD2 and you must edit the file watermark.php) is set to No however.

Ok... seem to know why now. It wont watermark already uploaded images.

Scan Database -> Check here to watermark unwatermarked files.

That should fix it.
