Support of the Icelandic language

Hello,

I need to have PhotoPost support the Icelandic language, primarily in keywords and searchterms. Could anyone please tell me if this is doable, if this is a major undertaking, if such customization would be overwritten when PP is upgraded, etc.

The letters that need support are á ð é í ó ú þ æ ö.

Thank you.
Jens

I would assume all you need to do is create an icelandic language file based off english.php and load the appropriate charset.

I notice that this forum has the charset ISO-8859-1 whereas Google uses UTF-8. Would this be the case?

You can try that as I can not say what the correct charset is. The quick look I took did not really give a clear answer

Ok, I'll make some tests. Where in PhotoPost do I load a character set? I assume I just need to change the wording on a template but I cannot find it.

In my initial post I explained you can create yourself a language file and like english.php file in your language directory you load the right charset with the $contentmeta line
