| adding a link to photo details box
Hi,
I am looking to add a gallery 2 phone service on my photo gallery where members can click on a link under a photo and then have the image sent to there mobile phone. I have the coding to send the photo to a mobile phone but I am wondering how I can add a java script link under each photo, the links will need to be different for each picture is there any way this can be done? I am guessing the best place would be where the photo details box is displayed under each thumbnail any suggestions how i can do this?
Thanks in advance
Sam

You can edit the showphoto template and add the java as needed. You just need to use the appropriate variables from showphoto for what you need where in the java.

i have had a look and still not having much joy, below is a copy of the code that is used for the service to be used on a coppermine gallery, i am guessing its only the prams that need to be changed for photopost to generate the info? Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
any suggestions as coding is not my best point but i am learning |

Chuck,
thanks for the info you provided, i have been working on the coding since you last posted and finally got the script to work correctly with changing a couple of prams you provided
i have managed to add the link to the bottom of the showphoto page just above the footer but i was wonder if you or any one else knows where about i need to post the coding to have it displayed under the photo under the line "Click on image to view larger image" i have tried looking for this line but unable to locate it.

That should just be positioning it where you want in the showphoto template

Just make sure your editing the correct template set as in if your using vb3 you edit the showphoto template in the vb3enhanced directory under templates
