adding more characters to recent comments

Hello i Would like to know how o add more characters, to the recent comments view?

In index.php change the 100 to which works for you.

Went in and changed to 300. However within the index.php file i do not see a change in the number of characters that are being displayed under the recent comments section.

Any other place i should look?

You do need to wait for the cache to update if your using that cat cache in admin to yes

But here is the problem i am not able to see html links within recent comments can that be changed?

We do not show html in the comments

we do not allow it because we dont show html in any of the fields as it is a security thing. You could hack your code if you wish to do so. Good topic for you to post in the mod forums. Your able to use bbcode in comments without any issue.
