How do I make member joined dates be accurate?

Hi!

My wowbb forum site is fully integrated with the Gallery (thanks Chuck!!!) and I am noticing that the user profile under each photo ALL say the same thing, which is:

Registered: December 1969

How do I make that reflect the truth on each of my members, which obviously have different join dates?

Hi Chuck - no, my wowbb forums are accurate and reflect the correct join dates of all my registered users. It seems that everyone JUST in my Gallery ONLY shows this for some reason:

Oh, when you said both applications I thought you meant Gallery and Forums, sorry. I don't even think I've ever seen a join date in the Classifieds. I just looked at someone's profile and ads in my Classifieds, and I can't find a join date to help me respond to you. Here is what I see by them:

I could NOT find joined dates on people in the Classifieds.

Try posting a comment on a test ad and see this will tell me if its just the photopost integration file or it affects all our products

Very strange. I posted a comment and it referred to me as "unregistered" and said:

That reigstration date is obviously wrong.

What I also don't get, Chuck, is why when I click at the bottom of my ad home page:

.. and go to the comments near the bottom, only my comment that I just did yields a date of registered (even though it is the wrong date). Why don't the other comments yield a date when I click on them? I can't seem to find anyone's registration date. WHERE ARE THEY?

Your dates are 0 meaning thats why they show december 1969 however if I place this at the bottom of index.php which essentially does the same thing we do on showphoto pages etc and it shows fine on the index.

It shows perfectly so I will have to do more testing but it is quite literally boggling since my test shows the function works fine.

Wow, if you are stumped I can only feel one thing - FEAR!!! I haven't messed around with files or anything, and you just updated and installed me .. and you originally installed me .. so I don't have anything to offer because the software is pretty much as I got it .. thanks for looking into this and helping me. Is this a problem on other sites or just mine?

But I do want to know - where are the join dates on my Classified users? Did you catch how some odd stuff seems to be going on there too? I can't find any join date info on the users there as I posted before...

I got it showphoto.php is this line

Seems we initialize $regdate throughout the function get_profiledata. Now since on a few of our integrations we need to run another special PHP function on $regdate like strtotime we need to make the line this

Hi CHuck! Any update on this? My Gallery users are still all showing as having registered in 1969! And I can't find any registration data showing on anyone in the Classifieds....

Chuck thanks for fixing the comments but the main issue, the user profiles, is still broke - the users profiles are still showing registered December 1969! Here is an example, look under his avatar under the pic to the left... notice how his user profile (or the user info with avatar to the left of Photo Details immediately under the image) is wrong but the comments are good:

I would also please like to know where the user profile data for REGISTRATION or JOIN date is to be found on users in the Classifieds. Is there such a thing? I can't see any user's join dates in the Classifieds so I can't tell if the problem is there or if I am missing that info entirely.

that does not exist in classifieds

in the gallery you can try editing showphoto.php and make the change in bold and see if that helps you

I am going to try and do this soon and hope it fixes all my users from having a December 1969 join date, but you should know that I have just been to two other sites with this Gallery and they have the same problem. One guy asked me how to fix it I said I don't know but was going to try a fix they gave me. In other words, I wanted you to know this problem of December 1969 is not just with my site, it's with at least two other wowbb sites.
