I am the webmaster for the Larchmont Historical Society and our photo archive is at
http://images.larchmonthistory.org/
We are planning to scan some very old newspapers, and I am exploring using our photopost site as the way to make them available. The challenge is that the images are large. I can make a 1700 x 2400 pixel graytoe image that is about 250K that is reasonably clear.
I have two questions.
1. What are the limits, if any, to the file and image size settings. I find that if I make them gradually larger, that eventually the image conversion process does not work and I get an error message.
2. I find the clicking on the image to see a larger version works in some situations and not in others. Should this be a consistent feature across different browsers?
