Interesting little....whatever

Hi...

Using PP vB and the vBa portal... everything cool, now the featured photos on the portal page are stuck/static all of a sudden, i did have a few people upload via ftp into their uploads directory and they show in PP...but not in the featured section on the portal... im sure if you upload normally it'll work... i'll try it now...might kick start the whole thing again

didn't work, showed latest upload on the portal, must be permissions, even though images where uploaded and shown in sections controlled by vB's user groups...hmmm, i'll just have to stick with it... there's 100 or so images missing from the recent uploads in featured shown on the portal...

is there a way i can alter the inc_features script to bypass this?... strange how there shown in PP featured and not elsewhere...

Seems bulk uploads do not get included in the featured stuff on my portal, even though uploads work and show as normal... odd but true!

featured photos will pull whatever photos based on the query in that inc_features file without seeing a link I can not say. The default file never shows members gallery photos for example

Featured photos (vB plugin calling inc_features.php) on my forum home page is the same oddly enough, PP gallery index if fine though... surely im supposed to see all of the photos that have been recently uploaded...

I may sack the portal...it's misrepresenting my site uploads in this case, even the other gallery (different install is doing this aswell)

I cannot determine the difference as to why PP shows all on it's gallery index (perms do apply) to that of inc_features.php which is used on both galleries for the forum home and the portal, image cache is off...

Have a look around and you'll see what i mean
