PP 5.5: Close comments only for specific usergroups

Hi

In PP 5.5 there is now the option:

. Close Comments to an open photo (comments continue to display, just no new ones allowed)
. Open Comments - undo the above

Is there an easy possibility to modify this, so that only a specific usergroup can use this feature? I would need this to be able to "sell" better subscriptions..

That is a modification you could do yeah that would not be terribly hard
