Rebuild thumbnail?

I tried "rebuild thumbnail" because I thought it might allow me to change the information beneath the thumbnail... it removed the thumbnail. I've tried again and it shows:

Warning: getimagesize(/home/users/web/b460/pow.catnip/htdocs/photopost/data/513/rags.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/web03/b460/pow.catnip/htdocs/photopost/image-inc.php on line 214

Warning: copy(/home/users/web/b460/pow.catnip/htdocs/photopost/data/513/rags.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hermes/web03/b460/pow.catnip/htdocs/photopost/image-inc.php on line 241

I tried "Make Index Thumb" but there still is no thumbnail showing up on the index page.

What can I do other than delete and reupload? I really don't want to do that because I've sent people to that URL to see the cat.

Thank you!

Linda

Does this file exist on your server?

/home/users/web/b460/pow.catnip/htdocs/photopost/data/513/rags.jpg

A thumbnail can only be made from the original; so lets see if the original is in place. (And a link to the image page would help so I could take a quick look).

It did at the time, but I had to delete the whole posting and repost the picture to get the thumbnail to show when no one responded. At this time, I just hoped you could tell me what the problem was for future reference.

Without anything to look at, it's hard to say; I would have wanted to know if they original file existed before looking at some other alternatives.
