Error creating thumbnail - PLEASE HELP

After the server move yesterday, we have encountered yet another problem in Photopost.

People cannot upload images. When they try, they get the following error:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Can someone please help us?

If you moved servers there is no telling that mogrify would exist.

You need to update your config settings to where mogrify is on that new server or try setting your processor to gd2 in global options

also make sure your paths are all correct in global and storage options if you moved servers. Also permissions need to be reset as well

Chuck,

The server only has GD option available. I don't think they have ImageMagik and don't want to install it for me. I did set it to GD2 and it worked. It's all fine now however you mentioned in your post that you prefer ImageMagick.

Will it cause a problem if I use GD ?

i am getting error creating thumbnail error code 1. everything was fine with imagemagjic then all of a sudden users cant up load and when i scan database get the error.

i switched to gd2 and users can upload but it still wont create thumbnails and scan wont owrk to recreate them. what can i do

Check your data directory and make sure they are set to 777 AT EVERY LEVEL

If the thumbs do not get created it would appear to me your thumbs directories are not 777

i did that - should i update to the 10/9 build of 5.5?
