Merging VBulletin

question - when we started with photopost we kept the databases separate from our forums.

can the two now be integrated together? what would happen to our gallery user's accounts? would they be merged into their vbulletin accounts?

You mean you are running a standalone photopost not integrated in any way with vb?

Wow good luck there.

There is no real automated way to do that.

My thinking would be this.

1. Use vbulletin's impex script to import the users from photopost into there.

2. Upgrade your photopost to the latest. Delete all usergroups under your usergroups table of photopost so after that you can rerun install.php and select to integrate with vbulletin 3. This will update Photopost to work with vb3 and still preserve the old photos comments categories etc

3. After your successfully integrated with vbulletin you need to go to our import forum and download the userfix script and run this to grab the new userid of the users so photos and comments are correctly assigned to the right users

I tried to use VB3 impex and got an error

I looked at this thread and tried using Impex.
I got the following errror:

...custom tables or incorrect prefix :

pp_perpage NOT found.
pp_user NOT found.

I contacted vbulletin and they said it doesnt support the lastes version of photopost.
Is that true or have I done something wrong ?
