Upload of very big video files

Greetings,

What is the biggest video file I can reasonably expect to be able to upload with PhotoPost?

Does the size depend on any settings in the software (other than the size limiter, apparently by default at 16mb)?

Does the configuration of the server have any effect on the max size of uploadable files? Is there any software that might be needed/added to the server that facilitates the upload of big video files?

A video file that is too big to be uploaded via the software, and is thus uploaded via ftp into the proper directory, can that file still be processed by PhotoPost as far as adding it to its database, creating thumbnails, etc?

I do appreciate your help.

Regards
Jens

Yes you can ftp a big file and process it

Your filesize is limited by your upload_max_4filesize variable in your php.ini file. You have a max multimedia upload setting in photopost but at no time can that be set higher than PHP's max. You would also want to update your PHP settings as far as memory_limit and max_execution_time also
