Photos show up in only one cat.

I am testing out some permissions and features and can't seem to find a clean answer to one issues.

When I set a category up and upload a pic it will also place that pic in my individual member gallery. How do I make this not happen.

Example

- set up Event Photos category
- added a 2006 Fall Cruise Gallery in the Event Photos cat
- added photo to 2006 Fall Cruise Gallery and the photo was also place in my individual member gallery. So the count on photos went from 0 total to 2 total with the upload of only 1 photo.
