Watermark Issue

I am using the water mark feature for my site. I was hoping it would be transparent. What is causing this.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

also what does this do?

Enable on-the-fly image protection
This option uses the watermark.php script to serve images yes no

When using on-the-fly image generation, do you want to overlay the watermark image?
You can use this feature for on-the-fly watermarks in combination with the on-the-fly image generation.

I dont see anything wrong with your picture or watermark above.

watermark on the fly does not destroy the original image like permanent watermarking does. It lays the watermark overtop the image when viewing only

hmm so how do i make it so it doesn't put the water mark on the pic permanently

in My watermark options i selected yes

i selected yes for the options i posted above. which one do i say no to so it just puts it on the image when viewing.

when the gif was made it was almost transparent. it wasn't so solid. i was able to see through the water mark and see what was underneath the watermark.

it was supposed to work like this
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
that was manually done in adobe

If you want to use watermarks on the fly you need to set use watermarks to NO

You set on the fly to YES and the watermark must be a png since GD2 is used for on the fly watermarking

I can not comment on your watermark since that will simply be placed on the image as you create it

You would need to create whatever watermark you wish in a graphics editing program. I can't really tell you how to do that as I am not a graphics guy and every graphics program is different.

I know in mine when I create a new image you set the background transparent and there is a setting to adjust the transparency of the top layer the writing.

You can set which usergroups get there photos watermarked in edit categories per category.

Now if you want to use on the fly watermarking you need to turn off watermarking and then in image protection options you can turn on on the fly watermarks. Basically that watermarking overlays the watermark over a photo temporarily not permanently like regular watermarks

So if you have on the fly watermarking you cant use individual watermarks as given in category options?
