Displaying Images Only

Which option I need to turn off in the Admin's area to turn off displays of everything that pertains to an image ?

Currently images on the index page, most popular images page, random images page, etc show the thumbnails with the usernames and image names underneath.

I'd like to show thumbnails only. Other pertinent information related to images can be shown when users click on thumbnails.

You can turn off the thumbnail blocks in index and layout options in admin

I selected NO to all options in the INDEX and LAYOUT options from the Admin's Control Panel, but the posters' names and images' names still display under the thumbnails.

I also noticed that such information also gets displayed under the thumbnails such as category name, username, and rating. I'd like to display only thumbnails in the CATEGORIES area since I believe other detailed information can be displayed in each image's screen, and there's no need to crowd the main index page or category pages.

Do you have a test site that shows ONLY thumbnails ?

P.S.: Below is how I customized the FEATURES option to show only thumbnails
Quote:
$featured .= <<<PPPRINT
<td align="center" bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0">
<tr>
<td style="background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center;" bgcolor="#000000" background="{$data_dir}/{$pcat}/thumbs/$photo"><a href="{$url_path}/showphoto.php?photo={$pid}">$mthumb</a></td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
PPPRINT;

I answered your question on how to turn things off.

Yes if you want to remove variables like name and title you need to do what is called hacking. You hack your code to achieve something it does not do much like you did with your example above.
