I'm trying to run a new install from a fresh downloaded copy from members area. PP 5.5
By the way, I was reading the http://www.photopost.com/installphp.html and it says: Quote: |
If you plan to use the GD Graphics Library instead of ImageMagick, you will need to set $usegd = 1 in config-inc.php for GD 1.x.x or set $usegd = 2 in config-inc.php for GD 2.x.x, or choose GD1 or GD2 from the dropdown during the install process
| But on config-inc.php there is no $usegd or any other reference to GD. I only see references to imagemagick there, even after install. Normal?

Ya it would be nice if we can get this working... I upgraded to 5.5 and it didnt help either. The GD config-inc.php is crap along with alot of other settings they say exist in those files. Instead you have to do it thru the admin cp.
Since you are upgrading, check out the issue my thread in the Installations & Upgrade area... I found some bugs an posted the code to make it work.
I am anxious, along with members to get my photo area to work at www.turbo-mopar.com. I have only been open for just over 9 months, and the photo section has been a huge hit! Just see below! Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

Nice site, I had an adult site running PP with over 40k users and NEVER had problems. Now I can't even get it to upload filles... and all my settings, paths and chmods are 100% correct. Maybe some new incompatility issues with servers running PLESK?

Michael is going to say the same thing I am saying here. There are literally hundreds of threads here on this site on this error and you can research that the correct response given is as has been posted in this thread.
Given the error your posting it is clearly a permissions error. The file can not be moved from your servers tmp directory to the upload directory specified in that error.
I can take a quick peep at those directories

Very simply your server paths where incorrect in your global and storage options after you moved servers.
Uploads work fine when you use the right paths http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/ph...o=3614&cat=500 |

Just viewing your PHPINFO file you can get your true server paths and I saw right away this was wrong.
Errors such as this are always what I have posted its just a matter of going through and double checking those things.

Yeh I should have doubled checked it. Its odd... my server path didnt used to say that at all before the reload. I am supprised VB on all these other sites, including mine work... they all have it the other way.

well remember you dont really use server path in vbulletin. The only time vb uses a server path is avatar uploads and thats only if you use the filesystem to store them Thus your not really going to see an error from vbulletin. Now with a product as ours that is file uploads oriented your settings must be accurate

Chucky could you please help me out? Maybe I'm blinded... but I can't find anything wrong with my paths.
Here are some screenies...
Server path: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Uploads dir: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Data dir: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
I'll pm you the admin access to PP in a second so you can check the paths are the same on PP admin settings.

I dont know where you all are getting your server paths from but yeah same thing GOMES I viewed your PHPINFO right in your photopost admin and it shows your server path and it was indeed not what you had
/var/www/vhosts/gkbe.com/httpdocs/pp
You might want to redownload the build and upload the image-inc.php file as I show you have made some kind of edit to it and the thumbnails are not made so replace your altered file with the one from the build

hmm, this must be something new with PLESK, because as you can see on my screenshot the path I always use to run hundreds of other applications is the same it it works just fine.
/home/httpd/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/
But I'm glad you could figure out the problem. About the file image-inc.php, I re uploaded it... although I haven't touched that file at all.
Thanks for your help |
