Forum Directory Moved

I'm moved my website from whatever_itis.com/forum to just whatever_itis.com and edited the config files for photopost and classifieds.

Things is, nothing is working right, the links are still showing forum in them, and i can't log into the admin cp without manually adding the link, and then i cant save any options.

My images are also still pointing to the wrong place....

which files do i need to fiddle with?

go in phpadmin and edit the strings in the settings table for your gallery.

Note: Make sure you are editing the right table, probably take a backup of your database first

There must be an easier way to do this? Why does it always have to be complicated with pp?

Isn't it annoying though how just by changing the directory you have to mess around? Anyone got any ideas? Support?

This depends on your version

Make sure in Photopost admin forum settings the forum url is set correctly and also in newer versions we get the forum url directly from the vbulletin options in there control panel so one of two places you still have the old url

My post has gone? I must be drinking....

Anyway, i've now moved host but before I did I saved the new host forum path etc info on my old server via the admin panel in PP and PPC and then download the db and files and added them to the new server.

What other files will I need to manually edit now for PP and PPC and what should I chmod to 777 other than the data directory please (Do I do all the files inside to 777 also?).

Permissions should be as this

http://www.photopost.com/installphp.html

You would edit your config files to begin with and make sure they have the current server paths and urls and database info. You can then get into admin and change any server paths that have changed in global options
