How do I upload videos?

I've got .mov as a valid extension for video uploads and i've changed my server settings to accept up to 20mb video files.

however, when i went to upload this 4mb video, it gave me this error:

My Photo Gallery Message
The file you uploaded was not an acceptable format.: 100_1128.mov

was this because of the underscore?

mov would need to be in the acceptible multimedia types line in upload options.

You then need to ensure allow multimedia set to yes in admin options

Then you should not get the message you get if its set correctly.

Either you have allow multimedia OFF or .mov is not set correctly under allowable multimedia types

however, when I try and upload pictures now it doesn't do anything after I hit the upload button. It shows the hourglass and then nothing.

Your max execution is 30 seconds probally crapping out cause your upload takes longer than that. Of course with no error a precise answer is not able to be given
