ImagePick or GD

My server now has both installed - is one preferable to the other?

I'm also confused about enabling exif info display - I read that another app is required, like jhead, but this could be a security risk? Can someon explain all this in simple terms please?

Thanks,

Ian

I prefer Imagemagick cause it does not use PHP memory like GD2 does which can lead to PHP memory timeouts

Thanks Chuck - also can you throw any light on the jhead question? Do I need this to display EXIF data and is it a security risk?

Thanks

Ian

jhead is not a security risk which is why we use it to display exif and not php's exif which is a security risk

yes you need it
