images not being added while using the ftp upload

i installed photopost on my server properly.

and uploaded 2 folders in uploads/1/

the way it is setup is

uploads/1/folder 1
- folder
- - some.jpg
- - some.jpg
- - some.jpg
- folder
- - some.jpg
- - some.jpg
- folder
- - some.jpg
- - some.jpg

i hope the above explains it.

1 main folder which has some 100 sub folders and all these sub folders have images in them.

the dir's are chmod to 777

i tried the bulk upload

selected
Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory
Do not delete photos from source directory

and everything else as default

it says image processed successfully but there are no images shown

any idea?

i dont get any errors

That is not how the bulkupload works. It will not scan subfolders it does not know they exist. It looks for images in whatever directory you specify so you would need to process each folder at a time and update your upload path accordingly to the folder that has the images like

/var/www/html/gallery/uploads/1/folder1/folder

chuck, any chance the subfolder option will be added to future versions?

i really dont fancy paying for another script just for this functionality.

as i mentioned in the suggestions thread, i have over 3000+ images in like 300+ categories and it would be a real time consuming one if i have manually create the folders and add the images
