Photopost integration with WOWbb

Hello,

I have photopost integrated with wowbb. I have run into 1 problem that I can't seem to figure out. When an unregistered user is viewing the photopost main page the categories will not show any pictures or descriptions. It just show the name of the cat and a minus sign on the very right under last photo uploaded. If you login, everything shows up fine.

any help is always appreciated

Darren

A link to your gallery might help but sounds to me like you need to set permissions on your categories in Admin => edit categories you would set the viewing permissions

I set all the permissions correctly under edit categories. Maybe it's how the users are handled through WOWbb?

I believe that the guest is the unregistered group in WOWbb. Maybe I should change that to Guest?

yes I have a guest user group in both photopost and wowbb. What else could be wrong with my settings?

Yes it does not seem to be an issue with your global usergroups permissions though which is weird. If you set guests to be able to upload they get an upload link don't they. This only seems to affect your category display on the index and everything else is fine. I guess I would need to try and get hold of a wowbb copy to do some testing on.

Your running current 5.31 code and unmodified files right? I just did a wowbb integrated install like only a week or two ago and everything is fine so thats why I ask.

5.3 and no mods. It is on a windows server. I don't know if that would make a difference?

I do not beleive that should affect this. Try upgrading to 5.31 although there where no changes to the wowbb integration file but lets be on the same code.

I will see if I can get hold of a wowbb copy

I got it! I changed Show post count and photo details for cats without thumbs to YES under index options. I don't know if the upgrade helped and it seems like I changed that to yes before.

Thanks again for the help
