featured photos

I have integrated the featured photos box as described in several threads here in my vb3.6 installation - used the xml-plugin, adapted paths and db connections etc.

Still no images were displayed. Is there anything else I have to have images displayed there (special category-setting etc..) ??

actually i just found that also in photopost itself no featured images are displayed ?!?!
