Sort Order problems

I am having a problem with the default sort order.

1) Go here...

http://www.zerogravityclub.com/photo...ry.php?cat=704

2) Click on the first photo that comes up in the upper left corner, It's named ZGN050813_479

3) When you click on the thumbnail you get a large version of the photo as well as the option to click on "next image"

4)Click on "next image"

5) Click on "next image" again to see the next photo

6) At this point you no longer have the option to choose "next image" even though there should be 100 more photos after this one.

I'm assuming the problem has something to do with the sort order, but I can't seem to get it to default to a sort order that will make this work the way I want it to.

Most of the people coming to my site, will click on the first photo they see and start to click "next image" to go through all of them. They won't even think to use the "sort photos" option on the thumbnail screen.

What do I need to do to make this work?

what version are you running? Have you modified any code? This is not something I can replicate on any other photopost site

I just upgraded to 5.31 although I was having this same problem in the previous version I was using which was 5.13

I don't believe I have modified any of the code.

So are you saying this is not normal behavior? That something might be messed up on my installation?

No answer here for you as I would need to do some testing on both your site and others as this is nothing I can replicate anywhere

I just sent you a PM with the FTP and admin login to the site. Please let me know if you are able to get the sorting figured out.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks.

It would appear to me your not using the latest Photopost 5.5 because I see your next and previous links are backwards. Make sure you redownload the build. I was able to view a category ands hit previous and next and they seem fine only problem I see is they are backwards.

Still having sort order problems.

Go here...

http://www.zerogravityclub.com/photo...ry.php?cat=721

Click on the first photo in the upper left corner. There is only a "Previous Image" button.

well temporary fix

In showphoto.php this is how it should look. Just revert in your file the id's 2 and 4 as I have done in the elseif lines

Code:

I did that but there is still the orginal problem.

I just uploaded photos here...

http://www.zerogravityclub.com/photo...ry.php?cat=722

1. Click on the first photo in the upper left of the screen
2. Click the Next Image button 5 times...
3. After the 5th click it takes you to a picture with only the option to select "Previous Image"

I want a user to click on that first thumbnail in the upper left corner and be able to go through all 300 photos by just clicking "next image"

That seems like the logical way to view photos doesn't it?

How can we make this happen?
