Custom Template

I am creating my own custom template so not an intergration.

Within the header.htm i need to include a tmpl file within it.

ie the menubar.tmpl

How do I go about doing this. I have searched the forums but cant see anyone else doing this.

Hope you can advise.

Thank you

Lee

You can attempt to include the template in the header html like so or make the header a php file and do a straight include all depends what your doing

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.

Sorry but this does not work.

I have left my file as header.htm and done a include in a few different ways ie.

<?php include "/gallery/templates/menubar.tmpl";?>

And

<?php include "/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/gallery/templates/menubar.tmpl";?>

And that also does not give any result.

Am i missing something?

I have even put in an incorrect include but it does not throw any errors.

Any further advice ?

Thanks for the support

No sorry what I gave you last should work fine provided your doing things correctly. On my old forum I used a PHP file as a header for the longest time with no issues

Chuck

Thank you for your help but whatever I try does not work. I have tried the following.

header.php = filename
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
And
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Neither work or produces an error.

The include path is fine on the global.

But one thing which is wiered. If I change the include path name knowing that it is incorrect it does not display an error either ?

I really need to get this sorted.

Any suggestions please anyone

Lee

Are you properly loading the header file in the photopost admin global options using server path. Surely if you link to the header it will load.

Your first example is valid to print some html contents

Your second example is not correct for anything

Its like it will not load a php file.

I am happy to give you access if you need to see.
