How do I fix photopost?

I've got constant issues of "Anonymous" posting spam as comments. I've checked, and rechecked usergroup permissions and anonymous should NOT be allowed to post comments, yet still they do. Out of curiosity I wondered what else anonymous users could do so I clicked the upload photos link and got this error message:

My gallery is becoming nothing more than a spam farm, my usergroups won't sync, and permissions are ignored. Every thread that I've found with similar problems justs ends without ever providing an answer. Is there any way to fix this, or should I just delete my gallery?

unregistered should not see the upload link if you have set the permisions right? it may need a fresh pair of eyes to see whats going on as sometimes when you are at your wits end you cant see the woods for the trees

As sybaris said you would need to set your permissions accordingly

In Admin => Edit usergroups make sure unregistered can not post or upload.

In the usergroups, Anonymous is set to "No" on everything. Yet when not logged in there is a link to upload photos and anonymous users are able to post comments. The admin and moderator usergroups work fine, meaning only I have admin access, and only my moderators have mod access.

Also, when trying to refresh usergroups from forum software I get the error message "Duplicate entry '3' for key 1" I think this is the root of the problem, but don't know how to fix it.

When I remove upload and comment option from "regular users" anonymous can't post, but neither can my users. My forum doesn't have a "regular users" group, only a "users" group. When I enable uploads and comments for the "users" group so my registered users can post, then it allows anonymous. So basically, it's an all or nothing thing. If anyone can help with the usergroups refresh error I'm sure I can figure it out, or that may even solve the problem entirely.

Found the problem. It was a problem with anonymous in the forum software.

Still have some issues with usergroups not matching up, and can't refresh from forum software, so if anyone has any clues there please let me know.

For any future users with this problem, it was an issue with PHPBB and the anonymous user being deleted. This also caused phpbb to not allow any signups. The sql code to fix the problem is at http://www.phpbb.com/kb/article.php?article_id=300

well if your integrated properly you should be able to do a resync on usergroups
