OK...I am having an issue with the video upload

trying to upload a video...it never errors out...just doesn't appear in the Gallery. I have the setting to accept a 15MB file and trying to upload a 10MB video.

What and where should I check on this at....like I said...it appears to be working great. Just nothing shows up.

Thanks

If it uploads and then says processing and nothing appears it just drops then your file is larger than your maximum allowable upload size in PHP

It says your file uploaded successfully (or something) and is processing.

If you don't wish to wait...blah blah blah

Okay you must wait and then see what happens. If nothing appears then the file is being dropped and it should appear your max upload filesize is lower than what your uploading.

OK...i got with my host, i checked the php.ini file...and it all seems fine.

The file that I am trying to upload is 7.39MB and my multi-media setting is for 15,000Kb so that shouldn't be it either.

SO>>>>what else should I check to see why this isn't working? Again, I do not get an error....it tells me that "Your Photos Posted Successfully" etc etc...then redirects me back to the Gallery index page....but there is nothing there or anything waiting to be approve in the admin. section.

No errors what so ever. Please help.

Thanks

Chuck, I think I am having the same issue. My max_execution_time is set to 30 and my upload_max_filesize is set to 2M. Where do I change those settings? I assume in my virtual server control panel. Are there any negatives for the rest of the site/server operation by raising these to say '600' and '50M' respectively?

You need to edit the php.ini file and change those variables and restart apache. If you do not have permission to do that your alternative would be to contact the host and ask them if they would do it. Worst case scenerio they say no.

Or you could stick this
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
into your .htaccess file in your public_html folder and that will put the max size to 25mb

Most hosts though do not allow htaccess overrides of such variables.

You can try that though
