Random Category Thumbnails

I am using the following code in another page I use to pull random photos to show from the site:

I want to pull random photos from a particular category to show on the index page for the thumbs instead of just one selected thumb. Do I need to do similar to the above code, or can you point me in the right direction for this to work.

I dont understand what you want? is it a random image block on your home page because there are a few in the mod section if it is.

yeah you might want to view the various mods in our modification section since this falls outside product support. I am unclear as well on what exactly your asking.

Sorry for not clarifying better. Basically on the index page each category can have an image thumb chosen by going to an image in that specific category and selecting Make Index Thumb from the Admin options of that photos. The thumbnail then appears next to that category on the index page. I was basically wanting it to pull a random thumb from each specific category rather than having the same image appear over and over again.

See this line in pp-inc.php basically you need to come up with a new query above this line query to grab a random image per cat and then define the new info like imagename catid userid and width height and replace the info in this line below with that.
