Remove Powered by from the index page

Hi,

I own the branding free license for photopost, and have successfully removed the powered by info from the bottom of my page, however my gallery page is being indexed by search engines with the title of my website and powered by photopost phrase.

How do I get rid of that?

I want google and all the others to show the correct description instead of "mysite.com powered by photopost".

Thanks,

Never mind, I think I found it

The only thing is, is it save to remove the whole line of code, or should I replace the text with something else?

Thanks,

You can remove it from the title

This is the most recent thread I found on this topic.

How do we remove the branding (and apply the brand free license) ?

alter the 3 instances in pp-inc.php and issue a
db> DELETE FROM pp_settings WHERE title = "cright";

and then I am now brand free? Should I use an UPDATE instead and fill the Branding Free license in one of the fields instead?

Do I need to go to a page and submit the license number?

I tried searching for directions on how to do this, but I guess my search-fu is lacking.

That is not the way to remove the brand free. if you want explicit instructions you can email support@photopost.com

Ok then. e-mail sent. I'll be out most of the day. We wanted to go live tomorrrow morning. Do you think that support@photopost will reply the same day? This will let me finish a few minor fixes like this one before the morning.

TIA
