photos with similar names being replaced

anyone ever had this issue?

user #1 uploaded a layout entitled first_dance.jpg.

user #2 uploaded a layout called first_dance1.jpg. this appeard in user #2's gallery and also in user #1's gallery, overwriting first_dance.jpg.

user #1 edited the layout back to the original and now both galleries have first_dance.jpg, the original file.

confused? me too.

any ideas?

what version of the software you using? Our files have a rename feature on upload so photos are renamed on upload if the same name exists.

Photo names are definately renamed in 5.31 of Photopost when uploaded if a photo exists with the same name

still wondering why this may be happening. it seems to only affect these two users...

so if you upload a picture with the same name as one of these users what happens? Your picture is renamed with a number on the end right?

We would need some exact specifics and examples posted here from your site to look at. Any test I do results in things working just fine.

just to note - our users have experienced this same issue at our site randomly as well... we are using: 5.3 and will try upgrading to 5.31 soon and let you know if we find this an issue any longer.
