Move PhotoPost to new server

I am moving my domain to a dedicated server. I have PhotoPost up and running on my current server. I need to move everything to the new server and test, before I change the DNS entries so that my current site is not down during the process.

What is the best way to move Photopost to the new server? Are there instructions somewhere to do this? I am *not* a pro - but do manage to fumble my way through things.. so if I had instructions I could probably get it done.

My current data is fairly large.

We do not use any forums, just the gallery

Is there anyone who contracts to do this type of thing?

Moving sites there are no instructions for but the premise is this below

1. Backup both the photopost directory and database and transfer them to the new server.

2. In the config-inc.php file place the new database connect info and the new server path to photopost in that file

3. Sign into Photopost and update the urls and server paths in Admin => Global Options and Storage Options to the new ones.
