watermark question

If I have it set to watermark all images and would like to change it to on-the-fly, do the previous watermarked images remain permanently watermarked?

Yes if you use permanent watermarking and switch old photos will be watermarked

If I understand this watermarking stuff, using on-the-fly does not permanently watermark an image but the other watermarking option does?

So you're saying if I switch to on-the-fly watermarking all previous images which have been watermarked will not be?

Yes one is permanent one is not. If you switch to on the fly after permanently watermarking photos then you will see two watermarks the overlay and of course the permanent image which already incorporates a watermark as part of the image

Thanks. I thought it might be like that. Oh well, so much for switching to on-the-fly wm.
