Hello

Hit upload photo and on that upload page select the category those images are to appear in and check this checkbox below and hit submit

Skip upload and process the files already in your upload directory

Follow:
1.
.zip your images first (lets say you zip around 100 or more images)

2.
select a simultaneous upload limit of 15 to 20 files

You will be able to upload a large amount of files,
*you also need to follow Chuck S instructions above.
* make sure your server allows huge file size uploads.

Smile Bulk Upload lnk

yeah I was just going to task if we can upload photos thew ftp. It would be alot esier if PP had a Bulk Upload like CPG has. All you do on CPG is save the photos in the catagores that you want them to show up in and when you are done you can upload all the catagories into the album foalder on PP it could be the Data foalder. Then once you have everything uploaded all ya gota do is login to the gallery and click on the Bulk Upload link and the script will place all the photos into the catagores they are saved under. This works really well on CPG so it would be nice of PP had this option also.

it would aslo be cool if we have a way we can setup the catagories/sub catagores thew ftp instead of going into the admin and making them. This way we can make the foalders in ftp instead it's alot esier because in the admin arrea you can only setup one catagory/sub catagory at a time. where in ftp you can do as many as you want it's alot faster and alot esier when you have alot of catagories/ sub catagories to setup like we do on our gallery has.
