GD / ImageMagick
 

I'm curious to know what the difference between the two is. I believe my server supports both. I'm wondering if there is a advantage to using ImageMagick vs. GD.

Edit: I've found a post after doing a search which gives me some of the info I wanted. Now is there a problem with switching Photopost over after installed?

I've switched between them several times with no apparent problems (after a recent server failure my host changed the path to mogrify so I switched to GD2 until I discovered the new path, then back to Imagemagick).

You can use then as you wish although I prefer Imagemagick since it does not use PHP's memory and cause timeouts on larger uploads.

Now the only change that needs to be made is the Dropdown choice in the options right ?

Yes, provided you have already set the path to mogrify in config.
