PhotoPost - Different header for each category

Is there a way to have different html headers for each category and or subcategory?

Thanks Doug W

Yes you can specify a different header and footer for use over every category.

Ok. I've done some more looking.

1. Do I create a new/different header-catname.htm for each category, edit them with my regular html editor, and then place them in the same photopost directory as header.htm?

2. In the PhotoPost Category Editor should the Header Include File Path be the full server path, relative path, or full url including http etc. including the header-catname.htm as part of the filepath entry?

3. Do I have to turn off intergration with vb3?

4. Do I have to make changes in any vb3 php?

Thanks

Doug

You can not load the enhanced vb3 integration if you want to use the photopost header system correct.

You would create new header footer files and name them unique like header500.htm header510.htm etc and then in Admin => Edit Categories set the path to the header footer files in the category editor for each cat you want to load a different header otherwise it uses the global header footer

Thanks.

Final question. My installation of PhotoPost (recent) does not have a headtags.htm file. Where can I set the meta tags (title, desc, keywords)?

If I create a headtags.htm file, does it need to include everything from the top of the document to and including the <body> tag?

Thanks again

Doug

You would make a headtags.htm file and include the tags you want to load and link to it in global options etc

You would only put the tags you want in there do not use body or head tags themselves just the meta link etc tags
