Category Strips

When I create new categories, they don't go into new category strips as they should. I'm using the VB3 integration. I see categories are properly separated on the Photopost demo site, yet I can't seem to get the same effect. The member galleries are in one category titled "category" (which I'd like to rename, but can't see where to do so) -- and then a second category "photography" was created in a strip -- however subsequent categories look like they're part of the "photography" category even though they have a parent of "none".

I hope that makes sense.

I just noticed this post that seems similar to mine. I'll try out the suggestions there.

Yes, that helped. Why so complicated? That's rhetorical - not expecting an answer.

Seems fairly straightforward; you have several options to change how the category strips appear to accomidate users who do want the stats.

But what do stats have to do with the aesthetics of category strips? In VB, when categories are created, they go into separate strips without added settings.
No biggie, I thrive on simplicity.

Pretty simple answer actually; our users asked for that option.

Users??? They're all fired!

I spent a few years being timid and not getting to know Photopost as I would have liked. A cardinal sin! With my second license, I've decided to be bold and to set up a gallery the way I want. Therefore, I'll question, irritate, cajole and praise to achieve my machiavellian goal.
I'm a designer (with a background in technology) and not much of a programmer and I believe the future of software belongs in the hands of developers who can create easy to use solutions for users like myself to contribute to and participate in the semantic web.

I digress...

Thanks michael!
