Question Album catagory assignment

From what I can gather, when a member creates a new allbum, the catagory will always default to the members gallery. In order to present the album within another category, the member will have to manually assign the album to that category after the album is created.

Is there a way to specify the category when the album is initially created?

[ The Issue ]
I'm in the procress of integrating PP with an Events Managment application that I'm developing. The goal is to allow an event organizer to create a photo album that will be linked to their event once the event has past. I want these albums to be created in or assigned to a specific category, (Recent Event Albums), when the album is created. If the organizer has to manually assign the album to the specific category after it is created, it adds another step to the process. My site members are generally not tech savvy enough to handle additional steps. So, before I start hacking at the code, is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

-K

Nope there is not way presently to do something like this. The script operates as you have outlined in your first post.

I kind of figured that. I'm going to write a quick function to do the job for me. Thanks for the quick reply.
