Expandable Top Categories??

I see other PP with the same version I am using that have their top categories expandable on the index page. What setting am I missing. I've tried various changes and nothing works.

For a category to be collapsable it must be a top level category and must not contain thumbs.

In Admin => Edit Categories set contains thumbs to NO for the parent cats you want.
