Angry Prevent Moderator access to the "Admin" area in PP!

How do I prevent moderators assigned to various categories from going into the ADMIN area in Photopost?

I do not want them to have access to anything in the admin area:

************************************

Approve Photos <Moderators assigned to particular category should only be able to approve pictures uploaded to their category, NOT globally.<<<
Bulk Actions
Moderate Comments
Order Images
Bulk Move <Even if moderator is assigned to one category deep inside the gallery, they can still move pictures from one category to the other globally!!! <<<
Manage Albums

If you do not want them to have admin access you would need to remove them from moderator access.

So, that means no mod access if they click on a picture and it needs to be edited or moved?

Sounds pretty useless to me. I just don't want moderators performing bulk moves and bulk tasks outside their assigned categories and approve pictures and comments...????????????????? Why would or should a mod assigned to some category deep inside PP have the ability to APPROVE pictures and comments?

In a forum as well if a user has moderators access they are indeed given a moderator panel in the admin. We tailored our moderator's access to work just like a forum works. Moderator's can not do anything like create categories or change global settings but they can indeed moderate images and such that they have permission to moderate. How is this useless?

Well, forum moderators can only edit, delete and perform moderator functions in their assigned forums. Right?

In PP, if you assign a moderator, they can approve ALL/ANY pictures that are uploaded as well as comments that were not even uploaded/posted to the category they were assigned to as a moderator. I had an incident where there were 100+ pictures uploaded which required some attention and were not in appropriate categories but next thing I know some moderator who was assigned to 1 or 2 categories approved those pictures.

There is no option to mass edit the pictures (like when bulk uploading) so going to each picture to edit it and move it to appropriate category is very time consuming. So that is why I would like to restrict the admin access and approval of image to administrators only rather than moderators.

Do you have the option set for moderators to have global priviledges? Turn this to off and they will only have permissions in there assigned categories.

The

Set this to NO if you want to assign moderators to specific categories"
Is set to NO.

When in "Edit Usergroups" if I turn on "Mod Access?" to YES, then it gives the user access to the admin area as explained above in my posts.

If you do not have global rights set to yes they get the moderators panel not admin panel. They can only moderate images in the categories they are given access to. It works much the same way as a forum. I see no issues with this functionality.

Nope.

Moderator Global Rights are set to NO / OFF.

The usergroup which the user belongs to has the "Mod Access" to YES.

The user is a moderator in:

Category A > Category B > Category C > Category D (user is mod here for cat D only)

Yet, that user has the ability to APPROVE pictures and comments globally (for all categories, the ones he is not even moderating)???

These options in particular:

Bulk Actions
Moderate Comments
Order Images

If I look at this and set a moderator to one category he is only shown images from the one category he has mod access to. If he selects a category other than one he moderates no photos are shown.

You can PM me a moderator login and admin login to see what you see cause it is not what I see testing this feature
