Picture Views stands for a long time on Zero

How does the Picture Views work? At my gallery the View Counter shows for a long time 0 Views, and after the 0 periode the counter shows the "real views"

Setting: Enable IP Cache Timeout = 0

There is a switch in Admin => Global Options to disable the view cache if you do not want to use it. You have this turned on so it caches the views and dumps them later.

i think you mean this: Setting: Enable IP Cache Timeout = 0 ?

0 disables this setting, but it still caches the views and dumps them later...

Nope I mean this

Use photo view caching to reduce view update queries on high load sites?
Set this to YES if you want to enable the view caching code which caches photo view updates

Chuck, FYI
(5.31) When I set to Yes:
Use photo view caching to reduce view update queries on high load sites?

After a long time it didn't update view count

So I tried changing:
Minutes to cache index page data for featured photos, statistics and PALs?

from 0 to 10 minutes
... and some odd stuff happened to the layout of my categories
