next / previous next to image

Hi,

One of the biggest problems with FP is the lack of a 'next' & 'previous' buttons either side of the image.

It seems the only way to navigate is to scroll the screen up to the thumnail, then work out which is the next image and click on it.

This is the bigest moan amongst my users.

Does anyone know of a solution for this?

Thanks.

What is FP?

next and previous thumbnails are shown and also next and prev links on the breadcrumb trail of Photopost. This is an example of what I see using Photopost

sorry I was spelling photo with an F LOL

You have the same 'problem' - if I click on the thumbnail then I have to scroll down to see the picture. Then scroll back up to see which thumbnail I need to click to see the next image. I am using a fairly large screen size - those with smaller resolutions suffer even more.

In my opinion and the opinion of my users there should be a < on the left of the picture and a > on the right (or similar navigation).

Okay the screen may still scroll up but at least it means that one has a simple method to scroll to the next image.

Maybe I need to tweak the layout, but I didn't know if there was an easy way to achieve this? Or an alternative option.

Thanks.

what size screen you using? I do not have to scroll to see the image?

You can also elect to show the next/prev images below or at the side of the image

Can you? Can't see this in the config page Chuck - time to revisit the page and obviously get my eyes tested LOL

5.3 - okay have found it (thanks ) - looks like I will have to alter the code to get it to display better - in my view it does not make it clear as to which is the next / previous image - I am not worried about showing small thumbnails (they only complicate the page) - all I want is a small button that says 'previous image' and 'next image' to the left and right of the image displayed as appropriate.

To me that seems far more logical
