Couple questions

How do you make a category look like one of the categories on a vBulletin forum? I don't like how mine look right now: http://www.sscoasters.net/gallery/index.php

Also, how do I change it so that when I click on "My Photos," I can go to my photos instead of getting this: You do not have permission to view this category.

One more: how do I set up the thing like at the top of the gallery on this site for member galleries and personal albums?

Thanks

If your trying to make a top level category look like the solid forum cat bar in Admin => Edit Categories set it to CONTAINS THUMBS TO NO.

You can also set in there the category permissions for each category as it would seem you have not set viewing permissions to allow yourself to view the members gallery. You can turn on in the INDEX OPTIONS to show the members gallery and personal albums links.

[1] What do you mean exactly? I'm not sure I understand. But try this and see if it's what you want... Go to Admin > Edit Categories > [Edit] (<< For the category you want to edit). Then choose NO in the "Contains Thumbnails" dropdown. That will make it look more like a category and less like a gallery.

[2] Permissions are set under Admin > Edit Usergroups. Each usergroup can have different permissions. Also... each category can have its own permissions, so depending on how you're logged in (which usergroup) and how the permissions are set (for each gallery), you'll get different results.

[3] I have no idea what you're talking about.

I have the categories right now, but still don't have access to "My Photos." I have everything set to yes (except moderate) for my admin usergroup and have granted access for any categories, but still am denied access to "My Photos."

Where is this permission? I don't see it under Usergroups. Unless I am just blind.

In edit categories From what I see in index options the members gallery is turned off or you have set in edit categories than no one can view it

Alright, figured it out after installing a test gallery. For some reason, I did not have the Member Galleries category installed. I copied the code from the test database, and now everything works.

Thats weird as on a default Photopost install the members gallery is installed and can not be deleted but good going.
