Update the database after a user has changed user name?

I have just moved my forum from phpBB2 to vB, and I'm about to switch my gallery integration. I remembered that some of my users have changed username in the last year, and the photos they uploaded before the change was made, still has their old username (the userID is correct - no problems there, but the old photos are still displayed with the old username). Will this cause a problem when I run the userfix to assign the photos to the correct user in the vb table? I can go into phpMyAdmin and to it manually, but a couple of the users have appx 300 pics each with their first username, so it would be great if there was a query I could run to change the names to their current one in the photos and comment tables.

Thanks!

Actually when you import your phpbb to vb the userid's are the things that change not the username. You need to run the userfix script after you attach your photopost to vb to redo the userid based on the username of the photos to get things right.

Thanks Chuck... I think I understand the change of integration. What I was wondering is what will happen to those pictures whos username no longer exist in the usertable? For exampler, lets say my user named Test changed her name to Test1, and all the pictures she had uploaded before the name change still say Test on them, instead of Test1, like all the new photos say. Is there a way to update the usernames before I do the integration switch? I'm worried about users losing their early photos...

If your still attached to phpbb you can run the resync usernames on photos and comments tool in photopost admin scan database.

It keeps timing out on me and just ends up in a blank page. Is there anywhere I adjust the memory setting (isn't that what it is called)?

It was the resync script, but I just did category by category instead of all at once, and it worked great.

I'm now running the userfix script. It has been on step 1 for alomst an hr now... is that normal, or do I need to refresh? I have a little over 12,000 pics in my gallery. It says Preparing to update photos userids...
