Comments not allowed to be viewed

When I click the "category" to see the "comments" I get the message:

My Photo Gallery Message
You do not have permission to view this category.

What is this?

Hello please check your category permissions for that category and make sure you have viewing permission to the category. if you have upgraded make sure your running all the new files and you have ran the required upgrade scripts.

when I try to edit the file I get the message:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/ubeascom/public_html/gallery/adm-cats.php on line 207

I remember running the script. should I run it again? from what version to what version? The current version is 5.3. Maybe I should try the upgrade from 5.3 to 5.31.

I would suggest you run 5.0-5.3 all 3 upgrades to be sure
