| users to be notified of new posts via email
Hi,
I want to have the email notification to users when new comments are posted to be activated by default!
Is there a query or a config setting?

You can edit the uploadproduct templates through admin and move the selected="selected" under the notify select box from no to yes. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.

I'm sorry, but I can't find a template called uploadproduct; there's only one called uploadphoto.tmpl.
Inside there I found this code, moved it, but no result.

Thank, but not working - sorry
That's what I've altered: Quote:
if ( $Globals['usenotify'] == "yes" && $User['userid'] != 0 ) {
echo<<<PPPRINT
<tr>
<td class="{$Style['tddetails']}" align="left"><span class="{$Style['small']}">{$Globals['pp_lang']['notify']}</span></td>
<td class="{$Style['tddetails']}" align="left"><select name="notify"><option value="no">{$Globals['pp_lang']['no']}</option><option selected="selected" value="yes">{$Globals['pp_lang']['yes']}</option></select></td>
</tr>
| And that's the result: screen.gif

Through admin (as you advised) I cannot access the vbenhanced folder, only via ftp. So I did the changes in photopost531/vb3enhanced/uploadphoto.tmpl and uploaded it via ftp. But still doesn't work and can't see any mistakes.
I've attached the file!

Make sure in admin options you have notification turned on. The only way this would not work is if that is off.

After testing and code-reading for hours, I've found out that it doesn't work with old pictures but works perfectly with newly uploaded pics!
So everything's fine now!
