Some problems and a question.

Hi
Site:
Virtual Tuners
Question:
Is there a way to pull the latest 5-10 threads from vb to a custom box in photopost? If so, how can I do it?

Troubles:
I sat up a category for the monthly contests where only a tuners group can upload, where only admins and moderators can see.
I choosed to be moderated when uploading since the pics can only be visible for voting at the end of the contest.

EVERYONE can see the pics, registered or not registered members even when I disabled the view for everyone included the admin groups.
How can I resolve this issue?

Regards

well you can post in the modification forums for mod questions now as to the cat question which cat you talking about.

I can only see chopped cars by manufacturer.

I just managed to get the unregistered views working. but still. If you are aregistered member you can see a category wich I specified as NOT to be viewed untill I release all the pics.
Not to mention that I alsp checked that ALL pics submitted by that usergroup should be modoreted and they arent. A use upload the pic and instantly gets out.

Well lets check this one below

Remember as far as usergroup permisisons if you have users whom belong to several usergroups and one is not set to have moderation and they can view the cat they will be able to. Only if the user belongs to one or multiple usergroups that can not view and have moderation will this apply. The best possible permissions settings always apply.

If your saying its not working when you set say registered users not to view the category they wont be able to unless if they belong to multiple groups like meantioned above.

Well the only members with multi usergourps athe the members who will enter the contests. I guess they have the primary permissions so the secundary will not work. Fine till now, I do understand this.
As for the normal usergroup (vb default registered members) I'll going to check and double check this.
I'll get back to you

No problem just thought I would note this cause this is the main cause of confusion on permissions people tend to make.
