pp_cache

I had to reinstall my database but my pp_cache table is reflecting the old cache and will not update. Here is the site http://www.unitedstangs.com/photopost

The stats on the left are updating but the categories is not.

Try turning your cache off and then reload your page and turn it back on. You can also do a rebuild of your post counts in Admin => Scan Database

I see a views cache but not to beable to turn cache off totally.

In Admin => Global Options there should be a yes no option to turn it off and if your using an old version set the cache timeout to 0

Ok using 5.2 and the cache is already set to "0". All the cats exist just not showing on the main page.

Yes you needed to run the upgrade script please delete it from the server.

Hey now you can't upload pics to those cats and when you add a new album it doesn't show on the main page either.

Make sure you have the category permission set in admin => edit Categories

Did you set upload permissions in Admin => Edit Usergroups for yourself I was able to upload a photo just fine as a registered user.

Only the new cats that showed up like Pony Express you can't. The members one works find.

Sorry still not seeing this. I uploaded to a category in Pony Express without issue. You might want to check your usergroup permissions as stated cause if your dont have an upload button on the menubar the usergroup your belonging to does not have upload permissions. I see an upload button.

For instanace we created a new album under Pony Express and the album "blownvenom" does not show on the main page but it does in the admin area.

Check your category permissions for that category. If it does not show up viewing permissions are not set.

I did. Has inherited permissions for every one of those under Pony Express.
